Technical Questions

How is Sensibo different from a thermostat?

Sensibo is an IR (infrared) blaster that communicates with your AC unit the same way your remote control does - by sending infrared signals. Unlike traditional wall-wired thermostats that are physically connected to your HVAC system, Sensibo doesn’t require any wiring or permanent installation. This makes it perfect for window units, split systems, and other AC types that use remote controls, while traditional thermostats are typically used with central HVAC systems that require direct wiring.
